Your information, in plain words
Pumpkin & Nova is a brand operated by Ateliers Després (Québec business number NEQ 2282475484), a small Québec business. We collect only what's needed to create, print and deliver your keepsake — and here, without jargon, is what we do with it.
Last updated: August 18, 2026.
What we collect
Your name, email, shipping address and, if you give it, your phone number; the photos you upload and the words you compose (your pet's name, dates, phrase); your messages (contact form, comments on a proof, reviews); your order details. We never see your card number: payment happens on Stripe's or PayPal's secure page.
Why
To produce your artwork, send you the proof to approve, ship to you, answer your questions and keep our books. Nothing else: no resale, no targeted advertising, no profiling.
Where it's kept
On our server in Beauharnois (Québec), in a database encrypted in transit and backed up. Your photos and print files stay there for as long as it takes to produce and guarantee your order; we delete them on request.
The partners who help us (and where they are)
The creation Studio sends your photo to fal.ai (United States), the artificial-intelligence service that composes the styles: the photo passes through for the time of the computation. Our emails go out through Resend (United States). Payments go through Stripe or PayPal. Each partner receives only what it needs for its task. As Québec law (Law 25) requires, please know that some of your data therefore travels outside Québec for the duration of these processes.
Cookies and browser memory
A single technical, anonymous cookie sets an identifier in the Studio to count your 5 AI creations per 24 h (it holds no personal information and lasts one year). Your cart, Studio drafts and promo code live in your own browser's memory, on your device — never with us before you order. No advertising cookies, no social-network trackers.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or erase the information we hold about you, or have a photo removed. Write to bonjour@pumpkinetnova.ca: we reply within 5 business days. The person responsible for personal information protection is the owner of Pumpkin & Nova, reachable at the same address.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we keep your email to send our rare news; every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
